“When you’re done, would you like to maybe go for a walk?”
“A walk? How Pride and Prejudice of you!”
Another win for Caleb. Loved it: the story, the characters, the plans, the twists, EVERYTHING! I love how they were obviously all paired up but I didn’t mind it, not one bit. They were all lethal cinnamon rolls and I love them all!
This story had everything it needed to be an over the top, teenagers do things they shouldn’t do, people are rude and evil for stupid reasons, kind of story. And I live for it. Teenage criminals in drag, getting away with super dangerous heists! I had my heart in my throat for them, afraid things were going to get ugly, as they usually go in these situations.
The characters were relatable, real. Diverse! I love so much a book with diversity. Margo is my new bisexual princess! You go, girl! Each character had a story to tell, and so much love to give. I wanted to give each of them all the love they deserved. You know I can’t help but care about struggling characters. I’m a mother at heart and all these characters are my children.
I won’t reveal anything of the plot because I went in knowing nothing and it was the best experience I could get. Do it!
