I started this series thanks to a recommendation by a friend on Instagram. She said this had werewolves, it was murder mystery, quite sexy, and just overall super interesting. I trusted her, obviously. I’ve been loving murder mystery more and more lately and this series sounded like something I’d love to read. And that was 100% true.
The story is from Cooper Dayton’s POV. He’s working for a branch of FBI that knows and deals with all things werewolves. He found out about them after being badly wounded and now he’s partnered with Agent Park who is a tease and a werewolf himself.
The pining and lust is immediate, even before Copper even knew they were going to be partners at work. I loved their banter and how they got to know each other little by little until their attraction couldn’t be denied anymore.
I didn’t guess who was behind the murders, as usual. I loved how, in my opinion, at least for me, it wasn’t too obvious. I have already read the other books in the series and will be reviewing them later on.
CW: death, explicit sex scenes, torture (mentioned, not on page).
